The doctor calls it a herniated disc, but I call it a good excuse to stay home on a sunny day.

So....you're gone for damn near a year and that's all you can say???

Welcome back (if only for a moment) and I hope your disc slips back into place soon!

That's quite a comeback post. Or did you somehow accidentally post this here using one of those all-in-one social media apps? This really was meant just for Twitter, right? Come on back now, ya hear?

Slipped discs do tend to be a regular problem due to over indulgence within the boudoir while on extended Honeymoons.
But glad to see you back on track, Luvs ya Vest.

Where the hell have you been? I hope everything is going well and you start posting again.

It would have made more sense if you had said it was a "bad" excuse to stay home on a sunny day; given your already established love for sun, the outdoors, and fun in general.

I don't get a chance to see what you are up to very often but it's nice to see a new post.

Take care.

Hey! I'm sad you are hurt, but it is nice to hear your voice.

My neurologist said there's nobody over 30 without some sort of disc herniation. Obviously some are worse than others. Certain sexual positions can exacerbate them. ;)

First, your narrative needs a little work. Second, you have many loyal fans. And finally, I hope you feel better this very instant...:)

THERE SHE IS!!!
I hope your disc is all better now.
By the way, I made your carrot cake recipe recently (way back from your Sweet Jay's days) and it was astounding! Thank you!

Hope you're on the mend!

Jay, I just read posts you'd written since the last time I thought you had. I don't know how I dropped off the Goat's radar or it off mine, but I loved reading your blog again. I follow you on Facebook as you know, but have often wished you still blogged. Now I know you're here. I'm happy.

I'm reading AND writing blog posts again! I got you pinned and followed once again! Please return the favor :)

Lorna did Jay relent and join face book after her tirade denouncing face book awhile back?

Is this the end of the blog? Say it ain't so.

Sounds like a very good excuse :(

Hope the herniation is being managed well.

Just wanted to pop on in here and wish you a happy and healthy new year!

Yes, Vest, she did!
But facebook feels more like voicemail to me. Everyone's page is like a beeeep on the machine. You leave your little blurb and hope they get back. I have nothing against brevity, but it somehow just doesn't feel like real communication to me. Just sort of a bulletin board that your friends can peruse and use to make educated guesses about your life.
